Seems like it.  As I understand it, Harper was hired (through the Cameo website) by a FanDuel VIP Manager to create a video for Terry Thompson, who's a FanDuel VIP client who's spent millions of dollars on the platform.  Terry Thompson is a gambling addict and is suing FanDuel - claiming they encouraged him to keep betting.

While in poor taste, I think it's reasonable to think Bryce Harper doesn't know who Terry Thompson is, or that he's wagered and lost millions on FanDuels.  He was hired by FanDuels through Cameo to make a custom video for Terry and he did was he was asked to do.  

Should Harper have paused and asked some more questions before making the video?  Maybe.

This seems no different than every casino on earth who goes out of their way to spoil, provide perks and make their VIP customers feel good about themselves.  It's a really sh*tty business and way to make your money IMO.

No talk about the draft at all.  Elliot Lascalles, Ontario HS kid went 60th to SD.  Robert Omidi, another Ontario HS kid went 246th to Detroit.

Evan Morrison went 290th to Texas.  College kid who was playing for the Barnstormers of the CBL.  They announced he got drafted during the CBL all-star game yesterday.  Cool stuff.

Used to have a dedicated thread for the draft. Now there is a dedicated thread every time someone farts 

Beck played his minor baseball where I’m from. He’s from a town of about 1000 people. He got himself to Indiana State and became the highest selected player ever from Saskatchewan 

It’s actually an incredible story. He never left to an academy, he played all his minor baseball with his hometown team. His academy was his dad and a whole bunch of country kids who just loved the game

I think Sportsnet will show it. 

Opening Night this season was a Netflix exclusive and I ordered Netflix just for it, and it wasn't even airing on Netflix here in Canada. Sportsnet actually aired the game that night, so what a waste haha.
