I'm not sure what I think about this. It definitely improves the pen (at a fairly hefty cost), and he's a guy who should be mostly immune to aging assuming he continues to show a rubber arm, but we really need to address the offense too. That payroll is starting to get to the point where we need to ask if they can go much higher.

None of the realistic primary targets for the Blue Jays lineup have signed yet and I think this is the only major remaining priority for the front office at this point.

That taste of the World Series has put everything on the table. This team may be outspent but it won't be by much and they won't be afraid to spend whatever it takes to try and get back to the WS and win it. It's a good time to be a fan!
