thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 Launch Hoffman to the sun please, never want to see him in a BJ uniform again. Havok 1

SeranthonySantander Verified Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 Please everyone remember none of this is our fault. The blame is on someone, probably Jeff Hoffman

So many chances to score with runners in scoring position and they couldn't cash in. Also, f*** Jeff Hoffman. A hanging slider to f***ing Miguel Rojas? Not challenging Rojas will be talked about all winter
Trainspotting Verified Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 This is the worst loss by a team I have ever cheered for. The only one that comes close is wide right by Scott Norwood for the Bills in the Super Bowl. So many chances to get add-on runs. This team had a great season, but it is now totally meaningless because of the WS. It will be known as one of the biggest choke jobs in all of sports for all time. They will not be getting back to the WS anytime soon, probably lose Bichette and not even make the playoffs next year. The Dodgers were 0 and 7 when down 3 to 2 in the WS. One of the biggest choke jobs of all time. Acemeister79 and CJ-Freeway 2

Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 You knew Hoffman would give up a homer the same as Little walking people

JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 Great Series! We'll do it all over again next year. Kordesi, Pinkfloid and Stangstag 3
FierceBlueJay Verified Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 Hoffman lost this game when he fell behind Rojas. I can't kill him on pitch but getting into that troubled spot was atrocious. BTW The Santander injury really hurt us in end. Having another quality bat and switch hitter could have been the difference.
ValiantJaysFan Verified Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 Just knew the season would come down to Hoffman, and he would do this. Ugh. Great year, this is going to sting for a long time though.
jmomcc Verified Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 I honestly don't even want to blame anyone. we outscored them 30-20 in the series. We outplayed them thoroughly. And we just got way less breaks than them in the close games. That's just baseball. It really sticks in my throat that the dodgers with their payroll got all that luck but what are you going to do.. max silver Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 I think the failure to score the winning run in the 9th was even bigger. Acemeister79, CJ-Freeway, Kordesi and 1 other 4
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 Amazing season and playoff run. Thanks for the memories, Blue Jays! leaffie, Kordesi and Stangstag 2 1
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 It took 7 games, extra innings twice, a s*** ton of lucky bounces, and a Madbum performance to beat this team. So proud of the Jays, just sucks they couldn’t get that last foot past the finish line. max silver, Brownie19, Pinkfloid and 2 others 1 1 3
