Just will not happen. Not sure if you've ever felt what a pitcher's arm feels like the day after a start, but its not something you can just will yourself through. It's swollen, inflamed and all kinds of f***ed up Imagine thinking that, lol
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Don't let Ohtani beat you no matter what.

And he had a good at bat there to be fair. And 2 good outs earlier. Gimenez is seeing the ball well Spanky__99 1
Doc Verified Member Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 I think they prefer playing on the road in the postseason.

And he was probably the first guy to do it in 60 years or something prior. It's not something to be concerned about Spanky__99 1

rydermike Verified Member Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Ok good. No reason for Varland to pitch to ohtani

If he starts at DH and then goes to pitch later, they lose the DH spot.

Straw hasn't played any infield this Season but he has played both Shortstop and Second Base.
416BlueJs Verified Member Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 What sucks is dodgers have done absolutely anything outside 3rd inning.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Have to get to Sasaki. It's doable. Kordesi 1
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 If Flu stop the Dodgers here, Jays will win with a epic comeback
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 So far the Jays have an xBA of .228 and the Dodgers .151. Spanky__99 1

Gausman threw 5 innings of 3 up, 3 down. One rough inning. Jays have even Yamamoto hard, they just weren't able to string them together all at once. There's still a chance here though. There's some magic left in the sticks yet 416BlueJs 1
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Ohtani is just good man, you can't let him hit.
bluejaysinternNo5 Verified Member Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 I thought that was a routine pop fly off the bat wtf

416BlueJs Verified Member Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 How did that ball go that far
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 That was a great pitch too... f*** me lol
mphenhef Verified Member Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Jesus, I can’t believe he hit that that far and somehow found a gap.
