What a punch in the gut.  This team needs to show it's resiliency one last time.  We got this.

Need more of this attitude around here!

As a baseball fan, love seeing a Game 7, but wish the Jays were able to close things out tonight.

This Jays team has been resilient all season and Postseason long! After that Game 3 loss, they came back and won 2 games in LA. Never count this team out!

Um, yes you can. Ohtani was absolutely tearing the cover of the baseball in that game and JS refused to IBB him at least two too many times. He was far more impactful in the outcome of that game than this one.

I couldn't disagree more. Intentional walks are almost always a bad decision. The statistics bear that out. JS had no way of knowing that Dominguez would throw a BP fastball down the middle. You keep the ball low and Ohtani gets out every time. It's been true this whole series.

Don't you have game 7 tickets? You must be stoked for tomorrow.

Gausman got hit hard by other batters in that inning he made look bad earlier too. You are smoking something right now and it's some hard stuff.

It's very likely that he wouldn't have faced any other batters in that inning, had JS not chose the intentional walk.

And if you miss upstairs by accident? Ball is leaving the park. Pitchers aren’t perfect, Gausman missed his spot against a struggling Betts and got hit hard.

These guys are future hall of famers, you can’t just pitch them in a specific spot and get them out reliably

I needed some time to cool down. That was tough. Rather we just went 3 up 3 down. But tomorrow we need those stringed along hits and we have done it all series except against Yama. If we win tomorrow the feelings we all have tonight go out the door. Let’s pray for it.

I think if I’m John Scheneider tomorrow I gotta make a lineup adjustment to make sure I stack the top of the lineup with my best and hottest hitters.

Either

Springer

Barger

Vladdy

Bo

or

Springer

Vladdy

Barger

Bo

I’m not saying Lukes deserves to get demoted but you need to give your best bats and power bats the most at-bats tomorrow. We almost ran into a scenario tonight where they probably walk Springer and face Lukes with the bases loaded had Barger not have been picked off. If you have Barger or Vlad hitting second it’s tougher to make that decision.

Just some thoughts. I’m still shell shocked over what happen. Everything was set up and then it was just over. Quickest 3 outs I have ever seen.

Oh you can see the future of parallel timelines too?? Makes sense why you always sound like an absolute lunatic

The game already happened and that decision was the difference between winning and losing.

Sure, the game could have gone differently from that point on, but we don't know in what way. We can only judge the plays that happened in front of us and in that reality, it cost us the win.

If the only way you can refute my argument is my creating alternative realities for yourself to live in then that's pretty sad.

I wasn't able to get any tickets for the World Series unfortunately. But will check tomorrow morning if the Jays release any seats. Will pick up a single for sure, even it's $1200-$1500.

Game 3 is where to direct your vitriol, not this one.

Win or lose tomorrow, they have been the better team in this series.

Bingo.

This guy has completely lost his mind. Gausman had a bad inning where he allowed 3 hard hit balls including a pair of doubles, but the reason that the Dodgers scored 3 runs is somehow due to the single baserunner that was put on base intentionally and had nothing to do with the hard contact.

You are creating an alternate reality yourself with this entire shebang. It's entirely predicated on Ohtani not doing what Smith and Betts did.

Ah, thought I remembered you saying you had bought some. Maybe it was the Seattle series.

I kinda disagree, a full lineup change signals panic. We roll with the same lineup that worked in games 1 and 3-5

If Barger is in the 2 hole in that moment you dont have 2nd & 3rd with 0 outs bot9 for them to potentially load the bases.

We saw Ohtani's next at-bat against Gausman and he made an out. That's better evidence than any reality that you have concocted. It really happened.
