Alejandro Murphy Verified Member Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 Credit where Credit is due. John Schneider being his first managerial exposure under the brightest lights He is learning from his mistakes and by just staying calm this game and doing less than more was way more effective than any point this post season. Well done. one more. max silver, ComeTogether, BatFlip and 5 others 8
FierceBlueJay Verified Member Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 How could all those mlb executives be this wrong? 21 of 22 surveyed picked the dodgers convincingly. I guess there was league wide skepticism about the jays starters and bullpen. And perhaps the dodgers starters were overrated, going against a deep lineup like this.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 What a site in the stadium Kershaw is saying his goodbye's on the field taking pictures and hugging people, doesn't want to leave the field and rightly so........and in the stands a bunch of Jays fans singing O'Canada What a game. Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2025 Posted October 30, 2025 Sportscasters talking about comparables to Yesavage in Jays history. The only guy that comes close is Juan Guzman. Came up from minors in 1991 immediately pitching like an ace. Stangstag and Spanky__99 2

However there was Jays talk with Bob 'boccat' McCowan which was actually kind of a version of this. When did this group start? Honestly I want to say almost 20 years ago. I recall some of the posters that are still on this group posted on the Jays official forum at least as far back as the Aaron Hill years. The MLB Forum went back to '96 I believe when it started. I joined that forum in '03. I was 15 in '88, hah. Anal Hershiser 1

The Dodgers just have so many elite players, you’d be hard-pressed to get any Baseball fan to pick the Jays over the Dodgers coming into this series. I personally was predicting Dodgers to win in 6, and im so glad to be wrong. Jays in 6 has a much nicer ring to it.
