He was fine directly after. He pitched great today. I cant even call the Smith HR a mistake pitch, he just hit it out. Kinda like the Judge HR off Varland in the DS that was an even better pitch... sometimes they just get them.

Did you not read my post script?…I tried my hardest to channel the ghost of Yogi Berra but there is a major difference of being realistic than delusionally optimistic.

 

So no matter how many baseball innings we all watched, this was not a pitcher that the Jays had faced before and Yamamoto just included his name in the history books.

 

So try again.  We all welcome that optimism on Monday.

Well cancer can be beaten.  Jonah brothers doing their part.  It's a long war, which we are losing so far, but we shouldn't stop doing mini cancer benefit concerts.  Even if it causes the blue jays to lose a game.

Yeah, when Vlad had one of his rare swing and misses for a K in the first, I started to get a little concerned. However, the Jays had a few moments with multiple guys on early but couldn't get the magical big blast we have gotten used to, credit to Yamamoto for pitching a great game. On to the next!! Let's get game 3!!!
