I wouldn't. I think Kirby is way better than Castillo.

Castillo lost his swing and miss arsenal

I think we actually have the pitching advantage tomorrow.

I don't.  They have Kirby, Castillo, Woo all actually available, plus we haven't seen Munoz and Speier are rested.

Offense needs to step up and capitalize on our opportunities.

I'm guessing Kirby until he runs into trouble, then Woo for a couple innings, then bullpen.

Yeah they'll have a super early hook for Kirby and likely go straight to Brash. Then Woo/Castillo out of the pen.

Kinda like what they did in games 3/4

Honestly wouldn’t be shocked if we saw Gausman in a big spot tomorrow. He seemed pretty confident he would pitch in a Game 7 and he’s obviously not starting.

I'm just so impressed by Vlad.  All aspects of his game are just elevated right now.  His baserunning is on point, the way he popped up after taking 3rd was beautiful.  His defense has become so reliable and the bat woke up at the right time.  Can't say enough really.

Yup really elevated his game when it mattered. Made his mediocre Season irrelevant. If he could channel this over a full season he could compete with Judge for MVP. But obviously playoffs > anything that happens in the regular season.

On 2 days rest?  Big time risk IMO.  Guess we'll see.  I believe he doesn't have much success on short rest.

I think most know he has this ability in him.  Would be nice if he could do it consistently. It's fun to watch.

I am just going by what he said in his post game scrum. Said be would be in the Bullpen ready to give the Jays an inning.

Yeah.  He's starting WS game 1.

Different mindset if you know you only need to pitch 1 inning. Would be similar to a bullpen session for him.

Don't think they are worried.

Vladdy Jr just scares me. Seattle please. Plus an all-Pacific time zone matchup would be cool

Make no mistake, these Jays batters can punish the D pitchers. Hope Dave and Mark are paying attention and taking notes. Vladdy/Barger/Springer et al. can be really dangerous.

The blue jays are starting to scare me

Yeah, really really thinking I want us to play Seattle 😬.

Blue jays are definitely clicking rn. I would be a little concerned especially if our bats go cold after the long rest our guys are getting.

Majorly concerned about the Dodgers ability to match the Jays’ offense since we’re more prone to cold-slump than Toronto.

Go Seattle so that we don’t have to confront this fate.

I hope we play the Mariners I just have a much better feeling about that series if we play them

Hope it’s Seattle. Don’t want any part of the Blue Jays.

I really hope the BJs lose. Would much rather face the Mariners

Bassitt starts Game 1 of the WS?

World series starts on Friday.  We are only asking 1 inning from Gausman, which would be similar to a bullpen day.  He can easily still start Game 1.

Regardless, winning Game 7 is all that matters.  World series should factor 0% to any reasoning for the game tomorrow.

The World Series doesn’t start until Friday. Both teams can try some funky things and still be able to line up their rotations how they want. The real only difference is if they use Gausman tomorrow they could use Yesavage for Game 1 and Gausman game 2 which would be regular rest. Honestly you could see Gausman and Max tomorrow.

I mean - you hope so.  But big risk IMO when it's an unproven tactic.  There's a pretty good chance that more often than not, Fisher is more effective than Gausman on 2 days rest.

Can't imagine many trust what JS will do.

Pitchers on short rest have been very good in this Post Season.
