Yankees got 1st and 2nd nobody out in first, and bases loaded and nobody out in 9th and didn't score a run in either inning. Only run came on a solo home run. Too home run dependent

Why didn't Boone pinch run for him? Makes no sense especially with the potential sac fly. Does Boone realize that it's two wins and done?  Doesn't manage like it.

Judge could have taken 3rd on the Bellinger single but had to hold because of Goldschmidt.  Then he could have scored on that Jazz sac fly. 

Regardless, you pinch run 100% of the time there when youre down in the 9th to give you more options.

yea I guess if you go back like Jays24 did above it might have mattered - the camera angles are also awfull - they really need a view where we can see the ball in the outfield and the base runners ....

I was wondering that too. Expecially since if the game theoretically continued, Boston would've brought in Whitlock in which case Rice would take over 1st base.

Yeah every run matters. Score on the sac fly and move a runner to third, wild pitch/passed ball becomes a possibility with added pressure. Bases loaded, he can just focus on the batter.

I don't get it. Hate the Yankees but as manager you have to do everything you can to put pressure on the defense.
