I thought itd be funny though if the Yanks had missed the playoffs but still had a better run differential. The copium coming from NY media while the Jays play playoff baseball would've felt good.

Jays 2nd and 3rd best seasons (1987 and 2021) in run differential they actually missed the playoffs. That's just the way it goes sometimes.
