I don't know if the Pirates just had zero plan of attack against the Rockies or what but hopefully last night shows that we can pitch effectively here, Berrios in Coors be damned.

Plus, this Molina guy sucks and their bullpen only has 3 actual MLB arms. Jays need to blast them again. Freeland is their only MLB-caliber starter right now and he's going tomorrow.

Buddy Kennedy selected. A 26-year-old utility guy who does absolutely nothing with the bat. So... looks like they brought him up for IF depth and to have a guy to make Ty France feel good about no longer being the worst hitter on the roster.

Why tf is France starting over Schneider? This is beyond disrespectful and team deflating. I could understand if France's numbers were considerably better, but they're not. Ross is a real f***ing puppet.

Fun fact, Bowden is still tied for the team lead in HRs allowed even after not pitching for like 2 months lol.

Ross is a real goof. He always treats recent acquisitions with more respect than the players who helped get us here. Who cares that we're in a pennant race as he always feels he has to try and prove his managerial skills regardless of the situation. When I heard France was involved in the trade, I thought that he was just a throw in and would be DFA'D immediately afterwards. 

Ross is the biggest f***ing donkey known to man. Why is that slow footed tank with his .670 OPS even in the line up? Ross can't help dumpster diving even in first place in August.

On the plus side, Loperfido and DS have performed so well that there's no shot either one is optioned in favor of keeping France once Springer and Gimenez are back. So this is just JS spoon feeding undeserved playing time to the vetrin.

Only thing I can imagine is they think they see something in his swing that they can fix. Dude was a really good offensive player just a couple years ago. He's not over the hill. Maybe they feel like they can "fix him" and if they can then suddenly they found themselves a really good platoon right-handed bat for virtually no cost.

That's all I got. Otherwise it's a really goofy addition.

If JS had his way, France would not be in the line up imo.

It's mind boggling, just like when he signed Morales to that ridiculous contract in early November. Ross is a seller, not a buyer.

Re: starting France over Schneider.

By the time this team reaches the playoffs (a distinct possibility at this stage) all the batters on the roster have to get a minimum amount of reps in so that if called upon they can contribute in a key situation.  France just cant sit on the bench until October.  Therefore, if he has to get his reps in (like everyone else) you may as well play him against the Rockies.  This is a prudent approach if we're thinking beyond just the next series but looking at the season on the whole.  

This is a first place team right now that Ross has assembled.

The Blue Jays are positively guaranteed to lose this game because France is in the starting lineup instead of Schneider. Who is Ross a puppet of now? Based on the general tenor of your latest incoherent rant I'm guessing you should be implying that Schneider is the puppet and Ross is the puppet.
