If OKC and Denver were in the same ballpark I'd agree but OKC lapped the entire NBA so I'd I've it to Shai no doubt.  I'm a massive Jokic fan too.

He's got a much better team. Good for him but that doesn't make him the better player. Denver would be a lottery team without Jokic. OKC wouldn't.

Agree about the better team but Shai also maximized their talents.  Sadly being the best player, which is Jokic easily, has never been the criteria for MVP.

Jokic just had a Mount Rushmore caliber individual season, Shai's probably wouldn't even be a top 20 all time season. They're going to look back on us in history and wonder what the heck we were smoking to give it to anybody but Jokic. The best player just had his best season, an all-time great season, and they won't give it to him. It is what it is, the media has manipulated the narrative from day one this season. It was going to always be Shai.

Offense still stinks and they did nothing to fix it. Sitting on your hands every offseason telling fans that you believe they will figure it out is a joke. What is it the third season in a row of having a terrible offense. How do they still have jobs???

Unfortunately, the consensus was/is the Jays needed two (2) additional thumpers and would need to hope all others (the core) returned to form.

Yes I think we need to move past the hope the core is going to return to form. Most other successful teams don’t operate with a lot of hoping things work out.
