Springer's going to have an OPS 150 higher than Giminez. Over 162 that adds up to fewer runs scored. How many times as a blue jays manager are we left scratching our heads with some of Schneider’s choices and obvious answers are right in front of him?
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 So Heineman gets hit on the bare hand and Schneider doesn't come out of the dugout with the trainer to check him out and give him a breather?

If OKC and Denver were in the same ballpark I'd agree but OKC lapped the entire NBA so I'd I've it to Shai no doubt. I'm a massive Jokic fan too.

Sadly being the best player, which is Jokic easily, has never been the criteria for MVP.

Jokic just had a Mount Rushmore caliber individual season, Shai's probably wouldn't even be a top 20 all time season. They're going to look back on us in history and wonder what the heck we were smoking to give it to anybody but Jokic. The best player just had his best season, an all-time great season, and they won't give it to him. It is what it is, the media has manipulated the narrative from day one this season. It was going to always be Shai. Brownie19 and Jays24 2

Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 Rowdy having a great series. Would be great for any of our top 3 guys to respond in kind. Spanky99 1
GogetemJays Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 Offense still stinks and they did nothing to fix it. Sitting on your hands every offseason telling fans that you believe they will figure it out is a joke. What is it the third season in a row of having a terrible offense. How do they still have jobs???

How do they still have jobs??? Well to their credit they got a switch hitting thumper which pluses them 40hrs. Happens to also be a good club house guy and team mate. Unfortunately, the consensus was/is the Jays needed two (2) additional thumpers and would need to hope all others (the core) returned to form.

Blue jays motto from ownership down should be: “If things don’t work keep trying them.”

Yes I think we need to move past the hope the core is going to return to form. Most other successful teams don’t operate with a lot of hoping things work out. Carlos Danger 1
