Holy s*** what did I miss? Taking the baby to the doctor and helping my parents stage their house and couldn't watch this one at all. 2 studly innings from Hoffman. I assume some early game aneurysms from the peeps in this thread? Another Vladdy error of course... Fun game or just a deep breath and glad it's over kinda win?

Lol, this game was painful to watch, even though it was a win.

This is gonna be a long damn season needing 15+ hits on a game-to-game basis to score 4-5 runs.

Yeah it's clear 2023 is this FO's ideal type of team, for better or worse, so we just have to hope this boring/frustrating vision pays off.

The most painful part was watching Springer hurt his wrist further after getting checked out by the trainer. It seemed really obvious to me that he should have been pulled out of the game after the second swing of the PA in question.
