GoBlue41 Verified Member Posted September 22, 2025 Posted September 22, 2025 I have a bunch of friends that are Mariners fans because I live in the Pacific Northwest and some are hoping to play the Jays. I told them if it happens, they better be ready for an invasion from up North. That would be a pretty lively couple of games in Seattle. I'm sure ticket prices will be through the roof too! Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted September 23, 2025 Posted September 23, 2025 Berrios has big problems third time through the order. Also recently can not get a third out in an inning.

I would probably pull the trigger on World Series tickets and come home for that. But don’t want to get ahead of myself. I feel like anyone who gets early access should buy as much as they can. I hate this but since it seems to be common practice anyway you can probably resell and get double your money back. Stangstag 1

I would be more likely to grab them and gift them to my older brother so he could take his kids. He just took his boys to their first game in August and they had a lot of fun. Would be cool atmosphere for them. Spanky__99, saskjayfan, BatFlip and 1 other 4

Also, from my previous experience sometimes it's best to wait to get tickets the day of off Stubhub (now SeatGeek lol). In 2015 and 2016, tickets were selling for less than the box office for some games (depending on time, score in the series etc.). My worry/concern is they schedule the Jays at an awful time like they have in the past during the week. Likely the games on Saturday and Sunday are at 1PM which is fine. Though some weekday games I remember were like at 2 or 3PM lol. Jays24 1

mellowgold2 Verified Member Posted September 23, 2025 Posted September 23, 2025 The only saving grace will be if we can hang on to the #1 seed, we'll play the winner of #4 (likely the Yankees) and #5. So if we're playing the Yankees, we'll definitely get some premium time slots. MLB's love of New York surpasses even their indifference/dislike of Toronto. Stangstag 1

They have concierge service and you can basically tell them the type of events you’re interested in. I get emails about big concerts, sporting events, even restaurants that you normally can’t get a table at. It’s really nice card to have if you travel atleast a handful times a year. You also get the tickets at market value because they scoop them before they are even on sale to the general public or scalpers can touch them. Spanky__99 and jaysblue 2

Yeah if the ALDS is Jays/Yankees, then that series will get the best time slots. The last 3 playoff appearances had the Jays facing the Rays, M's, and Twins, so not the type of matchups that US networks will prioritize. The Yankees are a different story. Jays24 1

That'd be my guess. France and IKF are safe for now I'd imagine.

mellowgold2 Verified Member Posted September 23, 2025 Posted September 23, 2025 Wow. You just know he'll end up in our division and will just be hyper focused on sticking it to us at any cost.
Ray Verified Member Posted September 23, 2025 Posted September 23, 2025 Manoah's fall from grace has to be the most stark I think I've ever seen. Breaks into the league shortly after getting drafted. Looks like a legitimate top of the rotation arm in 2021-22. Starts game 1 in a playoff series for a legitimately good team with World Series aspirations in 2022. I don't recall some else having such a rapid ascent and staggering downfall in such short order

But if your own team that has seen how good you can be and is meticulously tracking your rehab is DFA'ing you, it legitimately means your career might be cooked. Spanky__99 1
