Ok, this might be on me. The way I heard it on the radio I thought it was a done deal. It might have just been a Tweet actually saying the Phillies want to acquire Green. Then I found out while looking for the info, that the Tweet was from JPM....

Yeha, just a tweet from Morosi saying Green is a top target of the Phillies. Nothing more than that at this point.

 

It's worth speculating on a return though... there's lots of ways to make a deal given his contract and price. Jays could eat some to get a better return

 

 

I would guess Griff McGarry would be in the hypothetical return plus someone else.

I’d trust a bum on the street over Morosi, so I won’t buy this until someone reputable posts it, but I’d be pleasantly surprised if they traded Green. Hope it happens and they get something decent.
