wilko Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 (edited) Tonight’s Blue Jays-Orioles game has been postponed due to rain. The teams will make up the game in a traditional doubleheader on July 29. Edited May 14, 2024 by wilko
HomeRunHomer Verified Member Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 Might be a bit of a lucky break for the Jays seeing how the whole team seems to be sick.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 July 29th?? Just in time for the new trade deadline acquisitions
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Springer is like a cockroach in the leadoff spot. You just can’t get rid of him.

wilko Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2024 Author Posted May 15, 2024 Danny burgers starting back to back!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Those contact numbers are nice to see this month from Bo and Vlad. This emergency alert can f*** right off, please.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Bradish is pumping 97-98 like it's nothing. Up 1.9 mph from last season. Lovely.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Bradish last start wsa on May 8 so could be why h'es throwing some heat, he feels good. Don;t expect that will last
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Schneider is so good. Just spitting all over the borderline outside breaking balls, while fouling off the fastball.
The_DH Verified Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 that throw to 1st on Bichette made me think: video replay is the greatest improvement to the game in the last few years. I used to hate managers coaching coming out screaming that they saw it, whereas they knew nothing. When robo umps come in, I'll probably be happier than a pig in s***.
Delgalladay Verified Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Vogelbach doing a Biggio impression that at bat. Didn't swing once.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Vogelbach is basically just fat Biggio. In classic fashion, he also gets hosed by the ump.
The_DH Verified Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Vogelbach has to go: what an idiot. Almost turned a strikeout into a double play.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Vogelbach has been incredibly unlucky this year is every single way
The_DH Verified Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Vogelbach has been incredibly unlucky this year is every single way Totally disagree with you: he's got a roster spot in the majors, earning pension time and $2mm/year. That's the luckiest f*** I've ever ever seen.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Might stop watching baseball until they have strike zone challenges in MLB joke of a sport at the moment
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Robbed of bases loaded, 1 out. Now robbed of a K resulting in a double the next pitch.
Delgalladay Verified Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Might stop watching baseball until they have strike zone challenges in MLB joke of a sport at the moment It's such a joke they have the technology to get this right and refuse to use it.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Vogelbach has been incredibly unlucky this year is every single way Going to put this here again for those who missed it in the pre-season. Volgelbach must have nude pics of all the GMs or something. https://nypost.com/2023/10/04/buck-showalter-mets-brass-butted-heads-over-daniel-vogelbach/?utm_source=url_sitebuttons&utm_medium=site%20buttons&utm_campaign=site%20buttons
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 It's such a joke they have the technology to get this right and refuse to use it. It's incredibly simple too Just let the pitcher or catcher or batter ask for the review within three seconds of the call. Make it automatic and on the scoreboard. No need for headphones, or New York, or the umps to even move. And they can limit it to like 3 challenges per team per game, if they want to keep the scope limited.
spats Verified Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Vogelbach doing a Biggio impression that at bat. Didn't swing once. Vogeibach should be living in a van down by the river.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 how is he missing those meat balls and the ones he connects on are gounders, fix that swing path
Delgalladay Verified Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Nice Bo! I thought he was going to catch that.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Excellent ABs from Springer onwards. Long ABs, good swings. Bradish is getting tired and the stuff is visibly suffering.
