hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 or the league just figured him out
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 i think he's catching too many games with jansen out, and its affecting his stick. Every other player gets his due criticism for poor performance but Kirk always gets the playing time excuse because he carries an extra 25lbs.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Kirk looked awful on that throw down to second.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Darn, not a bad pitch although he did miss his spot. Can't be too mad there, wasn't even hit hard at all.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Buck is right. Walk the eight hitter to lead off an inning is big trouble usually.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Julio Rodriguez looks lost at the plate.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Julio Rodriguez looks lost at the plate. Indeed.

I'm not trying to make excuses for him sucking because he's catching too much, just don't think he's built to catch this many games. He's like top 7in at bats for catchers so far and that too much with how bad hes been with the stick and on steals.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Kikuchi is dominating out there. Already at 10 whiffs through 3 innings (49 pitches).
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Lead off walks always hurt, but that was so cheese, Kooch is shoving. Gilbert's shoving too, likely a bullpen butt clencher today.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Gilbert seemed dialed in though Is Kevon Keermayer cooked?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Gilbert looks tough to hit. Hopefully the second go around has some better ABs.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Kikuchi checking himself when he misses - you know he's on
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Kikuchi is dominating out there. Already at 10 whiffs through 3 innings (49 pitches). Fantastic Just need runs. Hard to come by off this guy.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Bichette needed to take control there and call it.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Fantastic Just need runs. Hard to come by Fixed.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 That was a great swing from Vladdy, surprised it didn't go further. Annoying that it ends up being a first pitch out in the end.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Better at bats here full count, then 108 mph lineout, then 104 mph single
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Turner would've loved redoing that last swing. Much better looks against Gilbert that inning.
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Genuinely a bit worried about Shulman's health. He's mixed up his words and called players names incorrectly more than a few times since Spring training.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Kiermaier can still go get it with the best of them. If only his bat rebounded to be anywhere close to his defense.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Author Posted April 10, 2024 Biggio has got to swing the bat with 2 strikes
