Lineup is not built for big hits. You can argue if you have to play most of these guys they would hit 9th. Vlad should be hitting 5 or 6. I don't want him up at 2 or 3. Guy is overrated. But he is good with batting practice home run derby stuff.

It’s gotta just be the brain. We all know Vlad has the ability, and as a 16 year old he had ungodly talent for his age bit it seems he hasn’t learned anything about hitting since then. Like he’s mentally still a teenager, he doesn’t understand at all what the pitchers are trying to do to him, he hasn’t grown at all.

 

He’s just a see ball hit ball guy, not an elite hitter like Alvarez or Soto
