MikeM3 Verified Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 Buddy put Varsho in CF and Schneider in LF. It's a 5 feet left field even Alvarez played there. f*** sake
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 Why is Schneider not getting more ABs? I think the org is a bit stupid
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 Babe once again rewarded with a stint on the pine I hate this front office
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 Why is Schneider not getting more ABs? I think the org is a bit stupid They're trying to be too smart to the point they are being dumb.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 I hate this front office What does the guy need to do to get regular playing time?
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 I hate this front office Something happened to this front office in 2023. I don't know if it was James Click, or Mattingly, or someone else they added, but the way they have operated since compared to pre-2023 seems like a completely different FO. Like, I can't imagine pre-2023 Atkins thinking IKF was a starting 3B. Dude was shooting for the stars with almost every pickup (Gausman, Semien, Springer, Ray, Chapman, Berrios, etc) and didn't give a s*** about defense if he saw even a tiny bit of offensive potential. I miss that front office a bit right now.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 I hate this front office Not playing Schneider after what he did last night... how f***ing stupid are they Bunch of f***HEADS
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 What has KK done to be suited to hit 7th instead of 9th
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 What has KK done to be suited to hit 7th instead of 9th He and Cavan should switch.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 With the 3 batter rule is there a particular reason to stagger the bottom of the lineup anymore? If they are hellbent on sitting Schneider it seems like they could at least bait the other team into throwing a lefty at us in the late innings by batting Biggio and KK 8 and 9, right? The team either uses a lefty reliever or they are scared of Schneider so they use righties against those guys. Seems like a win-win.
HomeRunHomer Verified Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 It's called playing the percentages. It's what smart managers do to win ball games. I've got nine home runs. You should be very proud. Sit down. ...
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 Varsho back at 5 and Schneider back on the bench. nice
MoustachedMenace Verified Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 Schneider will get back in there eventually Only a matter of time Patience people. We are at game 7 of 162
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 So trying to follow along with John and I suppose I see the logic. Javier has a career .319 wOBA vs LHH and .250 vs RHH. So that puts KK and Biggio into the lineup. And I guess since it's a tough matchup for any of the righties then they decide that they might as well go with the best defensive one in IKF at 3B? Stupid but whatever.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 Bitch please No one like the matchup of IKF vs anybody
HomeRunHomer Verified Member Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 I would get the love the Jays have for playing the handedness match ups a lot more if our left handed batters were actually good hitters vs righties instead of being just slightly less bad. I guess we will see how it goes.

hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 they're going to spend the entire game trying to justify the line-up decisions

jaysthebest Verified Member Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Vladdy forgets how to lift a ball.

el duque Verified Member Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Our team is struggling at bat and we sit down one of the few bats alive now
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 avg 130 Please don't, he's hitting the ball hard and walking.
