BTS Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2024 Author Posted April 2, 2024 Get Mitch White up...........now. Gonna be Parsons. White threw 3 innings yesterday.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 I prefer Manoah bag of balls instead
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Gonna be Parsons. White threw 3 innings yesterday. So Manoah throws a SIM game tomorrow....
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Wonder if Francis is tipping pitches. They are all over him. could be, he might not be hiding the ball during his delivery. They are tattooing the FB
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Mitch went 3 innings yesterday? Felt like he did. Yeah, I was being sarcastic.....didn't want to mention he who shall not be named (Pa***ns).
deanmike Verified Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 If Francis ends up having to move back to the pen if he can't handle being a starter, and assuming Manoah still sucks, who becomes the 5th starter? YRod? Ricky? Mitch White lol?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 I mean that time he threw a mediocre slider down the middle to a pull hitter. The fastball seems like itÂ’s quite hittable and theyÂ’ve been sitting on it though. Yeah it was more so in response to everything. The Diaz homer was 4 inches above the zone with good velo, that's the one where I question it. But yeah hes getting smoked, even that DP ball was scorched and on a pitch down the middle.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 I prefer Manoah bag of balls instead If it was Manoah pitching he would’ve started a fight by now.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Best contact of the game from the Jays side by IKF there.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 If 2023 Bowden Francis ends up being a mirage, and assuming Manoah still sucks, who becomes the 5th starter? YRod? Ricky? Mitch White lol? Idk but lots of people here told me we have very good starting depth. Its gonna be tested early it seems.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 This game is gonna be over by 10
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 same game plan that has Varsho hitting 4th Six pitch inning right after Francis threw a bunch of pitches the inning prior.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 This is my worry with this lineup easy outs and not even making the pitcher work. Its one thing to not have a good result but soft contact on 3 pitches is making it too easy for the pithcher.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Best contact of the game from the Jays side by IKF there. Yeah, he stung that.
dippitybop Verified Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Genuine question… Jays are still ranked one of the better teams in the league, slated to probably finish top 2 in AL east. How? This team is worse than last year on paper. Pitching depth is their strength but it really hasn’t looked like it, especially if Manoah can’t figure it out. I feel like they are just crossing their fingers and hoping offense figures it out this year and the pitching repeats from last year I honestly don’t see them making the post season…
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Donnie Baseball better make some lemonade out of our batters.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Alvarez could probably hit the moon against francis
dippitybop Verified Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Isn’t Blanco a depth pitcher who isn’t even in the starting 5 rotation? Offense not making him work at all

Basically sneak into the playoffs and hope we get some luck that we’ve been missing 2022/2023
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 He cannot keep missing with his slider high like this.

Steeljays Verified Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Not a good outing for Francis but our lineup is pretty weak. We have too many guys that would usually bat 9th. Any deficit seems too large
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Pretty clear the curve is his one true plus pitch. I wonder if he could survive throwing his arsenal of breaking balls like 60% of the time.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 I dunno man. It's like the Astros saw Francis the day before actually seeing him. Good game prep I guess.
Steeljays Verified Member Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Don't understand why Davis not playing in this park. Biggio should be utility/bench only
