No chance they will though. They would alienate a lot of their fans and all the SJW would go nuts on Twitter. Tbh I don't think would be a good idea for them to sign him, especially since its not the biggest need on roster.

 

You would think a team like Texas or KC would sign him though. Their fans wouldn't care plus similar to Chapman, the team could get a good return at the deadline if they decided to trade him.

I'd say if there was no dark cloud of the BS over him, then yes for sure. But the guaranteed PR nightmare is a valid reason not to sign a guy without it crossing into collusion territory.

 

It would be a very Tampa move to grab him though. There's the PR issue, affecting a good portion of the fan base and there is the risk of further incidents. The 2nd possibly more of an issue for teams than the 1st.
