Trevor Story died again

Looks like a separated shoulder

Hey guys, does anyone know of a good alternative stats website compared to Fangraphs? Fangraphs has become almost entirely unusable for me, the amount of adds they're pumping on there is beyond satire at this point. The site will hardly work with Adblock anymore.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

If it's bothering you, you could just pay for a membership for $60 / year (I assume that's USD?). If you use the site enough, it's probably going to be worth it for you over the alternatives.

That sucks, I dislike the Red Sox but I generally like Trevor Story and don't like seeing any players get this kind of injury. It brings back Darrell Ceciliani vibes and that injury was a career ender.

Not sure if mentioned in the GDT but 60 day IL for Loasiga. "Significant injury" according to Boone.

Big loss for Yankees pen

Teoscar Hernandez has 14 RBI already

He has more hits than Springer, Varsho and Kiermaier have COMBINED

There's 5 teams that have been worse than us with the bat as hard as that is to believe. The Mets have a whopping 58 wRC+ and .536 OPS as a team. Hot and cold streaks happen for players and teams. Freaking Betts already has 1.4 WAR.

Can't wait till our bats regress and we get Jansen back

Free agent no?

Nope he was traded by the Cards, in exchange for Nick Robertson and Victor Santos. But he's in his final year of team control and can become a FA this off season.

ONeill is the one off-season move that it's fair to say the Jays should have done

Sox traded nothing really for him and he only makes $5.8M

Spencer Strider to have MRI tomorrow, he felt discomfort in his Elbow.

Yeah he didn't look right yesterday when watching him. Geez hope he's alright. One of my favourite pitchers in the game.

AL Central I think will be a fun division to watch. Really like the Tigers, Royals and Guardians as sleeper teams. Should be an interesting race.

Looks like a bunch of crappy teams that would probably finish last in the AL East to me, but one of them will be gifted a divisional playoff spot and at least one more will probably be in the WC hunt because of their lighter schedule and not having to play 50+ games against the AL East.

Lmao you're such a tool.

Cleveland actually has a very solid rotation - Bieber, Bibee, McKenzie, Allen and Williams (when he gets back). Heck, you can even argue it's a better rotation than the Blue Jays both in the short and long term lol. Give me those arms any day over the Jays aging arms! Cleveland also has a very solid BP. Lineup wise, lacks power and punch but heck at least their star players like J-Ram actually are reliable unlike some of the star players on the Jays.

Tigers look like a team on the upswing. Have some nice arms in Skubal, Olson and Mize. Bullpen isn't that bad. Lineup has some holes, but some intriguing young pieces.

Royals have a lot of solid young positional players. Bobby Witt Jr. looks like an AL MVP in the making. They have some nice young arms like Ragans, Marsh and Singer. They went out and added some vets this past offseason on short term deals like Wacha and Lugo for the rotation, Smith and Anderson for the BP and Renfroe and Frazier to their lineup.

These aren't a bunch of crappy teams like you're suggesting. They definitely will be fun to watch this season and as a baseball fan looking forward to it.

They'd all get their s*** pushed in (ya know, the way you do on a nightly basis) playing in the AL East

SSS Alert... Michael A. Taylor has a .972 OPS

He was a nice pickup by the Pirates. They definitely will trade him close to the deadline.

Holy f***

Just saw on Twitter. That sucks and a huge blow for the Guardians. Hopefully they get Gavin Williams back soon.

Looks like Carlos Carrasco will be sticking in their rotation longer now.

I don't think anyone outside the org even knew he was hurt. Last we saw him he was mowing down the Mariners.
