Amongst the top 40 SP in innings pitched and just shy of 170 total innings. he’s hardly being yanked early all season.

But even if that’s the case it’s hard to argue with the results of doing so. My guess is they have some pretty compelling numbers that at a certain pitch count his spin rates and “stuff” start to take a noticeable hit and it’s better to get him out than leave him in to get teed off on.

He's accumulated a lot of innings because he's been effective, not because he's been pushed in any way. He's been pulled early all season.

Fugly inning, better not let this one slip away.

If we can’t hold the Rays to a 4 run lead with 3 innings left when they aren’t really trying, we are not going to get past them in the playoffs

What do you think is more likely, that they hit our good pitching or we hit theirs? We're not going to be the favourite, hopefully the Rays aren't getting all the ugly out of their game here and save some of these bad plays for the postseason.

We will OWN Erasmo Ramírez in the playoffs.

The likelihood of him being in any important situations in the playoffs is pretty slim…unlike Ramirez.

Varsho's at-bat makes me miss Moreno.

That Moreno trade has been looking worse as the season goes on.

We got a defensive specialist with an average arm, noodle bat, not speedy but an outstanding baserunner and high baseball IQ on a team full of idiots.

It is what it is, can't do anything about it now. No point thinking about it anymore.

I doubt he even makes a playoff roster. Maybe in the CS as a long man

Biggio is HOT

Don’t forget how it all started for him.
