Davis Schneider is now projected for a 114 wRC+ and 1.9 fWAR in 364 PA. He's a top-4 hitter on the team. He needs to be in the lineup every day.

 

This much was obvious after last season, combined with the FO not bringing in any bats who deserved to push him out of a starting role.

Jays have a slightly negative BsR and negative defense so bar. Defense is mostly due to Bo who already has -3 OAA. Ernie, IKF, and KK have some positive OAA.

 

 

So, if you love weak groundballs and infield popups, and also like bad shortstops, you will be LOVING the 2024 Toronto Blue Jays.

Basically the Oakland As on the position player side of things.

 

3-3 is a miracle.

Well I've been working law enforcement (as the since retired Sheriff of this board) for a long time now so I'm glad you asked.

 

As the victim of his repeated death threat attacks I am not personally offended but it was a violation of one of the few rules that we have. But I'm willing to let that one slide because I'm a nice guy.

 

But the one that really grinds my gears is the follow up behavior where he calls a mod a "dumb f***" for simply reminding everyone of the rules.

 

So I think it'd be best for everyone, including the offender in question, to give him a quick trip to the penalty box so he can think about how he's going to readjust his behavior if he wants to keep posting here.

Agreed. People are concerned after 6 games because the offense looks the exact same as it did for 164 games last year.

 

Happy with a 3-3 record but still concerned about the offense. I don't wanna see all the gaslighting with the "it's still early" and "the numbers will come around" excuses again.

Especially when a lot of the plate appearances have looked terrible. It’s one thing if these guys were having good at bats and hitting the ball hard and getting unlucky. Buts there’s been a ton of swings at bad pitches early in the count with soft contact.
