travisinfla Verified Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 They only pick on Varsho when Biggio isn't in the lineup. It's all Biggio when he starts lol hahaha true
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 I mean if we have a 6-man rotation the starters should be able to go 110-120 pitches now.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 I was reading that teams can include contingency money in trades in case team options are picked up. So maybe could do a prospect and a PTBNL for Anderson and contingency money. If the option is picked up the PTBNL is a 40 FV guy. If the option is declined the PTBNL is some scrub. Cool, didn't know that, that must've been added in the new CBA?
keggy Verified Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Slams the brakes, destroys his knee and gets tagged out anyways. Rough. 2B tagging him lightly to record the out was a classy move.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 f*** that. ATL won a WS losing Acuna Jr, Ozuna and Soroka. Judge and Stanton have gone down for the Yanks. Others have to step up. True
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 With a 14M dollar player option tagged to him? Does the team option turn into a player option if he’s traded?
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 When you slam on the brakes like that the thing you worry about is the ACL. Good news is that he probably wouldn't be walking off if it was torn. Lets just wait and see. I strained mine playing football pretty badly once and was out a couple weeks. Used crutches a couple of days to get the weight off it. It didn't tear but it hurt like hell for a few days. I knew something was wrong instantly when it happened. Had to wear a brace when I came back. Not easy for a SS. I hope to hell its minor and he just felt something and froze out of precaution.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Slams the brakes, destroys his knee and gets tagged out anyways. Rough. Makes you wish he would have just followed the team lead in dumb base running and get thrown out by 20 feet at Second.

Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 I still hate that the fans blame the entire woes of the offense on Biggio. Every time he comes up its non stop bitch fest. If we are being honest, Vlad needs to step up big time. One of our biggest problems relatively.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Apparently everyone on this board has destroyed their knee and iron maned through it. I tore all four ligaments in my ankle playing Basketball in 7th grade and I cried like a little girl on the playground.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Cool, didn't know that, that must've been added in the new CBA? Yes, I'm trying to find where I saw that but now I can't find it.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 The only way the Jays would be picking up that option on Anderson. Is if he really does actually become the modern day Jackie Robinson after the trade lol. He's been on a heater the last 2 weeks, his D is bad too though.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 If we are being honest, Vlad needs to step up big time. One of our biggest problems relatively. He does but it's not all on Vlad either. Springer has severely under performed. Most guys have. It will have to be a collective effort.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Does the team option turn into a player option if he’s traded? I've read on here it's a player option? It's a team option?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Paul DeJong could be an interesting name. I think he would be more of an option depending on the severity of the Bo injury.
goldbug103 Verified Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Why can’t vlad just be good lol Cause he’s not good. Jays to be swept soon.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 I've read on here it's a player option? It's a team option? It's a team option with a $1m buyout. So if the Jays got him, worst case he stinks, and you pay him $1m to go away. If he rebounds then maybe you consider picking up the option and putting him at 2B in 2024. But all of this is premature as we don't know what is up with Bichette yet.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 Ya. Ah, so he and DeJong are options, anyone else? They shouldn't be expensive.

They'll know if it's bad news by tonight or tomorrow.
