5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 How did this guy regress into such a bum?
Floortom Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 You cannot continue to trot Manoah out there...this is getting embarassing. For everyone's sake enough is enough
Kordesi Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Oh well - why hang around for a few innings when you can give it up in one. So sad to see but it is what is.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Leave him in there. No use using wasting other arms on this start. I would too, maybe it will be the light bulb moment that he needs
BlueJays Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 How did this guy regress into such a bum? Guy talked too much last season. Lmao
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2023 Author Posted June 5, 2023 How did this guy regress into such a bum? It's mental.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Okay... this is Babip luck. I think... Knowing how to lay down a bunt isn't "luck". The cope is off the charts with you, man.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 You cannot continue to trot Manoah out there...this is getting embarassing. For everyone's sake enough is enough No alternative. Get Pearson extended and switch him with Manoah. f*** it, It's not ideal but it's something. Maybe Manoah will be better in the bullpen for now and maybe Pearson will finally fulfill his potential as a starter. We literally have no options right now.
bronson44 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 so they didn't bring up a AAA starter in case this happened?
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Leave him in there. No use using wasting other arms on this start. I think they should
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Surprised they're not booing the guy. One of the most pathetic performances I can recall from a Jays starter in the last years.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Manoah would be absolutely DOMINATING the Arencibia Classic fantasy league this season.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Are you guys seeing any movement on his four seam? Looks so flat to me. I hate being right on this s***.
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Not so chirpy anymore eh, fat boy.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2023 Author Posted June 5, 2023 The start to the game likely bent him to his knees, damn... kid's cooked. Needs to go down and reallocate, yesterday.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 They say Kikuchi struggled last year, Berrios struggled last year….even at their worst, they weren’t like this. Manoah is 100% broken. Get him down to the complex and start from scratch
Kordesi Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 It's mental. It really has to be. Perhaps he has some stuff going on outside the game. Need time out for sure.
Cynical Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 There's a real curse for pitchers who are named opening day starters on this team.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 I would too, maybe it will be the light bulb moment that he needs Don't know for sure, but he seems like the type of guy who would sulk rather than have a lightbulb moment. Hope I'm wrong but...
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 I bet Verdugo has an ear to ear grin right now.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Leave him in there. No use using wasting other arms on this start. well, it is still the first inning and Bielak is nothing special. Can't exactly just punt the game at this point.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Don't know for sure, but he seems like the type of guy who would sulk rather than have a lightbulb moment. Hope I'm wrong but... There’s always a moment, some guys it just takes longer than others.
Ray Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Wonder if they phantom-IL him or straight-up demote him. Up until today, Manoah alternated between okay and bad starts, but you could somewhat justify throwing him out there to see if he figured it out. Today was eye-openingly bad for Manoah though. A move needs to be made.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 It really has to be. Perhaps he has some stuff going on outside the game. Need time out for sure. His stuff stinks. He can't locate. His velo is subpar.
MikeM3 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 We only have 5 starters in the entire organization or he'd be down already
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Didn't he turn down extension talks from Atkins this year? Might've saved us some money in the long run if he does indeed turn into Ricky Romero.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Him going .1 innings could very well cost this team the series by burning out the pen in game 1. Jackson is gonna get abused now for as long as possible since it’s his last night up.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
