wilko Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 Maybe the Jays can snag Tellez and his -0.3 WAR?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 I dont think they should either, but given their money constraints, it's only a matter of time. Off season, seems more likely.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 Judge might not make it back this season, they're aiming for August and if he can't go by then he'll need surgery with a 4 month rehab timeline.

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 Yankees are cooked. Somehow still treading water despite their entire team hitting under .200 in June and having a team wRC+ of 69
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 Maybe the Jays can snag Tellez and his -0.3 WAR? Lets do better than that Imagine where the Jays would be without Richards in the bullpen eating up valuable innings.
WryNGinger Verified Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Yankees are cooked. Both NY teams miss the playoffs?...both LA teams make the playoffs? Crazy times indeed.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Maybe the Jays can snag Tellez and his -0.3 WAR? As long as Burnes or Woodruff are throw ins.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Yankees are cooked. Offensively they're cooked. Stanton really needs to step up for them but he looks cooked as well. Yankees always find a way though. Not saying that to praise them but saying that as someone who hates the Yankees. They always get lucky finding guys off the scrapheap which is annoying. Someone like a Luke Voit, Mike Ford, Gio Urshela etc.

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 This year it's been Bauers and McKinney, haha. Yeah damn forgot about McKinney this year. I picked him up in the LOD and he's been raking against RHP. Watch him end up hitting .300 with like 10-12 HR's and a .850 OPS in 350 ABs this season for them lol.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 The Rays and Orioles both lost while we won? It's a fn miracle
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 German perfect through 7 Guess the umps just don’t care anymore?? Or MLB/Manfred has told the umps to be lenient on penalizing Yankees. Cheating f***s
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 The Rays and Orioles both lost while we won? It's a fn miracle LOL you jinxed it!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 LOL you jinxed it! Omg I mistakenly thought I was looking at a final score Fack
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 Omg I mistakenly thought I was looking at a final score Fack I was watching the 9th inning last night. Wander Franco made a beautiful diving stop and throw for the first out in the bottom of the 9th. Doubt many other shortstops would have got to it. Hope the D'backs can win the series today, but its an ugly pitching matchup lol.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 Omg I mistakenly thought I was looking at a final score Fack The curse of Gsnarls will haunt us the rest of the year

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Severino has been absolute garbage this past month ERA now over 7 Love to see it!

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 (edited) Actually, other than a better K/BB ratio, Severino has kind of more quietly (?) been every bit as bad as Moanoah this year. Severino just giving up a s*** ton of hits and a lot of home runs. Manoah 2023 1-7 ERA 6.36 FIP 6.53 7.4 K/9 6.5 BB/9 1.71 HR/9 Opp BA .289 - 0.6 fWAR Severino 2023 1-4 ERA 7.38 FIP 6.38 12.8 K/9 4.5 BB/9 2.32 HR/9 Opp BA .310 - 0.5 fWAR Edited July 7, 2023 by G-Snarls
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Rays have been struggling. Braves up next for them too
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Rays have been struggling. Braves up next for them too Even with their struggles, it won't impact them in the standings. They banked a lot of wins early and as they go through this tough stretch, won't impact them one bit.

Heck, Toronto could even catch them. % chance to win division per Fangraphs: Blue Jays 8.4% Orioles 7.1% Yankees 5.4% TB's odds were 88% on June 30th to win division, now down to about 78% hmmm
