You may not want to hear it, but this team is better setup to win playoff series vs the 2022 team. Yeah, we're in tough this year in the AL East but it's May. This past week does not define this team. Some on here are acting like it's their first year watching baseball. We're s*** right now, but it isn't going to last. Book it.

Shapiro has done f*** all that has actually shown on the field.

 

We spend a ton of money, have a crap system and are good at pretty much nothing on the dev side. He hired Atkins and he f***ed up in doing so.

 

Re the system, Shapiro used to give subtle digs in the media about how the former FO emptied the farm so there was a need to build it back up. But what has he done in that regard? Nothing!

In terms of the farm this is pretty much correct. The whole sustainable winner thing was obvious bs and i think AA would have been better at trades.

Agreed, but they have to get there, which isn't happening with this offense. The calculated gamble on Kirk/Jansen and Varsho have been a super failure on offense

Ive been a long time reader cause there really is some very insightful baseball talk here. I have not posted much at all, just a bit here and there over the years. My history of posting is a mixed bag of positive and negative. I admittedly am more of a casual fan, I dont know the intricate numbers like some. I watch almost all the Bluejays games. I think last year I said that our bullpen is s*** or something like that and Spanky jumped down my throat, throwing personal insults, we got into a war of words a couple different times. I think he has me blocked now, but not sure. More recently I was s***ing on Biggio deservedly cause he f***ing sucks, and some guy told me to go suck a dick little bitch. haha. The thing I find incredibly petty about it is when people who are not part of the regulars fraternity come and start saying things they dont like it becomes like a competition as to who can dish out the most personal attacks. So I rarely post anymore.

It shouldn't be that hard to understand why it gets tiresome for someone to constantly gush over the opposition. It's was annoying as f*** when Buck and Pat would constantly fawn over Derek Jeter. If you aren't an Oilers fan it gets old fast having a national NHL broadcast constantly drooling about how good Conner McDavid is. You are doing exactly the same thing.
