Putting Bass and Richards in close games is waving the white flag. We had 3 innings to get a run or a few runs to tie it. Def doable in Fenway. However, the pen consistently letting the game get away is a recipe for a barely making a WC spot, if that…

He looked OK until he got hit on the shin with a grounder, than looked awful after that. Two could have been related or maybe not. Red Sox stack the lineup with left handed hitters and may have gotten to him anyway.

It’s a light rain that will pass. The wind is showing at 9mph which is not significant. The Red Sox pitchers seem to be able to get outs. They play in much worse conditions then this.
