He’s like oppo-Cito. For some guys like Chapman, it works. For others (Jansen, Varsho, etc it doesn’t)

Almost like 1 approach at hitting doesn’t apply to all players

Chapman’s changes were over a longer period of the time as well. It’s from my understanding Chapman starting experimenting with his toe tap and approach beginning in the off-season. Varsho started his changes in Spring Training. Maybe it’s something they can explore again next off-season. But it was pretty evident the approach zapped Varsho’s power and he was hitting a lot of pop ups and weak ground balls trying to go the other way.

I’m shocked they gave Yoshida anything to hit in that situation.

That great pitching stretch was fun while it lasted. Can’t hold any leads the past 3 games.

I was sayin, temper the expectations on the bullpen. They could just as easily turn in a s***** week. We’ll see how these 4 innings go…

Even Cora knows to unintentionally-intentionally walk Bo, but here we are.

So stupid. Lets give the best hitter in the lineup another chance to f*** us with 1st base open and 2 outs

Mattingly is on the bench not giving much input i guess. Not sure why they didn't go that route.

I thought Kirk was putting it together, three groundouts to the same spot.

Hopefully it's a one off.

I’m getting the vibe Mattingly’s role is more of a passive mentor. Pete Walker is always in John Scheneider’s ear.

His role is to go after the manager's job.

Doesn't have something with the new Las Vegas Athletics going on?

Pete Walker was always in Montoyo's ear too.
