They DFA'd him in the off season and he was picked up on waivers by the Red Sox, before being dealt to Seattle a month later for cash considerations.

 

Six years in the Rays org after being a 4th rounder, but cast aside after 3 major league innings.

But after today he'll have started 20 of 27 games, which puts him on pace to start 120 this season. We should be using him at least a bit more than that.
