What’s the worst that can happen? He gives up a bomb to Eloy? Ok, damage done, you’re still in the driver’s seat, and then you can take him out and he’ll still feel just as good about his start.

I have no problem with Schneider going to the bullpen and I don't know why people are acting like divas about it.

 

I just wanted Kikuchi to have sub 3.00 ERA :P, if he got that out, he would've.

This one I kind of get. He had Swanson warming for the middle of the order. Probably unnecessary but I get. I don't believe in this burn the pen today cause tomorrow is an off day stuff though.

Schneider doesn’t seem to factor in the score when deploying his bullpen. He should, it’s a long season.

Good point.

 

He's also only pitched twice in the last 11 days, 11 pitches and 10 pitches. Need to keep him from getting rusty.
