mellowgold Verified Member Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Teo will be missed. Obviously all things considered, Varsho > Teo, but it would kinda be nice if we could just stash Teo in the dh role on this team.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Did Varsho get a bunt single? yes and it was glorious
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Teo will be missed. Obviously all things considered, Varsho > Teo, but it would kinda be nice if we could just stash Teo in the dh role on this team. Kirk and Belt is a pretty fine DH tandem. Always the option of re-signing him in the offseason if we really want him back. Wouldn’t be worth it as a primary DH though. And idk if the front office wants him in the OF
WryNGinger Verified Member Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Kikuchi with the hard work and dedication to actually try and get better. Didn’t go home to Japan in the offseason. Worked with driveline. Why wasn’t Berrios doing this? Need to get Berrios on this before he is so inside his head he gets ruined. I would strongly consider an 'upper body ailment' if I were the Jay's to get back to the pitching lab for a few rotations to help him clear his head and get confident in his pitches.
WryNGinger Verified Member Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Montoyo would have had tears in his eyes in the dugout if he were managing right now. Quietly playing his bongos with tears rolling down his cheek
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Thanks. Has anyone seen any video? I can’t see it (at least yet) in the MLB highlights.. It was a carbon copy of most of his bunt hits from last season. Drag bunt, got it past the pitcher towards the 2b and just outran it. 2b got it in his glove and tried to flip it straight from the glove but had no chance
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 So Kikuchi's the ace now. Clearly And nice avatar
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 So Kikuchi's the ace now. What do you mean 'now'?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Kikuchi vs. Bubic BTS... you've been summoned.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Fugggg. Wasting/getting robbed on a lot if scoring opportunities these first few games
