The_DH Verified Member Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 I'd add Capra as well. He made the roster before, he might again.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 K's Vasquez swinging. After a dribbler, swinging bunt infield single by Correa
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Kikuchi seems regular season ready.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 The Kooch is tight. If it ain't tight it ain't right.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Is Kikuchi an Ace now? Gausman Manoah Kikuchi Bassitt Berrios Tiedemann White

JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2023 Author Posted March 23, 2023 Nice outing by Kikuchi. Looks like they fixed him.
Captain_Obvious Verified Member Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Damn. 9Ks in 5 innings. Tight tight tight!
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 5IP, 3H 0R 9Ks 1BB This is what the Jays hoped they were getting when they signed him.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Berrios gonna end up the long man outta the pen when Ricky comes up
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Berrios gonna end up the long man outta the pen when Ricky comes up I feel like there's a decent chance Berrios hits the DL at some point with "arm fatigue"
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 They have Horwitz listed at 6 feet which seems kind of absurd when you watch him. Orelvis Martinez listed at 6'1 is at least 4 inches taller.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 WTF is f***ing happening with Kikuchi? What a story this could be.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 17 whiffs, dude is on fire in the spring. Please please please keep that going. All 5 curveballs were for strikes too, which is new. Maybe he can utilize that to steal a first pitch strike occasionally.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 I think Pearson just cemented his roster spot. You can't put a guy throwing like this in AAA.

Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Kikuchi looked like an ace for a month or two last season as well. Then he fell apart. Hopefully he stays locked in this time.

Last year he looked like an Ace, inning by inning if even that! Much better in the bullpen role in which may have carried over into this season.
