Gone were the days when Batista and Encarnacion were putting fear in the oppositionÂ’s faces. They both can single handily carry a team. The only reason that they fail to advance was because David Price was a perennial playoff bust. Game 4 was when that choker caused this franchise the chance to a title.

People should be honest to themselves that they can ever say that Bichette or Guerrero can ever reach the success of both Batista and Encarnacion.

Atkins is a shortsighted decision maker, doubtful he could ever surround this two with high performers. Varsho is his major blunder

Moreno is a worse baserunner than Kirk, and slightly better defensively and swings a pool noodle.

You have to be joking about being a worse baserunner lol.

While Moreno hasn't shown any real power yet, he still has a comparable OPS to Kirk. You also have to factor this is Morenos true rookie season while Kirk is in his 3rd season. Kirk should be better at this stage just due to his experience.

Theres no way to judge the trade right now. Im definitely in the camp of Atkins is a jerk off, Moreno will probably be a stud, Kirk will deteriorate due to his weight. LGJ im ok with letting go we weren't resigning him after this year anyways. Varsho...I dont know seems like good defender with a little bit of pop and nothing more. Not the best return (so far anyway), hope im proven wrong!

Weren’t you saying how you were uncomfortable and scared few days ago LMAOOOOOO.

I’m neither here nor there on this drama but it’s not a big deal everyone is making it out to be if vlad got caught he wouldn’t be getting cut

I never said I was scared. Uncomfortable yes. Annoyed yes. Feels like nobody can really speak freely or disagree with things even if they aren't backed up by facts or science.

But yes the scale of player was definitely a factor here. I wasn't really an Anthony Bass fan but it had nothing to do with religion or personal takes. It was quality of a Baseball reliever. Which had been much better of late before his last outing.

Ultimately now being DFA'd he gets his full salary and he gets to choose his next destination. So I actually feel he gets the last laugh because hes going to be making all his money and won't have to face daily ridicule. I find it hard to believe he wanted to be booed at home the rest of the season.

Atlanta's lineup f***S

Schneider's ability to pull pitchers too early always gives the team bad results. The same mistakes happen to this team too often and it is not what a 'contender' does in many games.

Damn too bad he was only stretched out for *checks notes* …33 pitches

Call me crazy, but I think I picked up on Bowden tipping his breaking balls and I think Minnesota picked up on it also. The first few hitters were dispatched quite easily but after that it looked to me like they had the timing down on both the slider and the curve pretty much perfectly. Almost like his body in his delivery as just a bit more upright when he threw the breaking balls vs the fastball.

First three batters he faced struck out, and got 4 swinging strikes. Then, of the next 7 hitters he faced he recorded exactly 0 swinging strikes, and gave up EVs of 100.4, 99.9, 103, 98, 100.5, 104.5, 74.2, 94.2 and 91.1.

Especially after the Jay Jackson situation if I were the video guys I’d be really looking at Francis’ video from today to make sure he didn’t have something giving away the breaking balls

I also acknowledge this could be nothing more than a 10 batter sample size being weird
