BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 The Pirates are 14-7. What? Been a long time since the "We are Family" team days.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Gallen is a stud. D'Backs could use another power bat or two in their lineup. Their offense has been meh this season.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Ohtani unhittable as always. I feel like there's a pretty reasonable argument at this point that says Ohtani is the most skilled baseball player of all time. He's definitely one of the few baseball stars I would pay to see! When the Angels come to town and if he's pitching, I would definitely splurge to buy good seats.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 I would love to see Pittsburgh become good again. They had some good teams in the early part of the last decade. Need to build up some more pitching. Could be a opening in the NL Central over the next couple of seasons. If the Brewers lose both Burnes and Woodruff as FAs, they won't be as good. St. Louis is getting older. Cubs are heading in the right direction, and the Reds could be as well. Pirates definitely can make some noise.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Oh yeah Bellinger is back Oh yea he is. Great player finally healthy again. You love to see it.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Sandy Alcantara skipping a start due to biceps tendinitis Man, that sucks. He was a workhorse, and was really fun to watch.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 So I guess James Outman is a star player now?
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Shane McClanahan threw 88 pitches today and induced 32 swinging strikes.

Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Rays walk off again. 6 GB. I've seen this before.
Ray Verified Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 White Sox are a useless franchise. Rebuilt themselves for this.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Rays walk off again. 6 GB. I've seen this before. I haven't.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 I haven't. 6 GB Yankees on May 11th last year!
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 6 GB Yankees on May 11th last year! And... I've never seen such a soft skeddy this season as the Rays have had. They're doing exactly what they should be, though. It's impressive.

philly30 Verified Member Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 MLB Big Inning wants to be like Red Zone but it is poorly produced and Matt yallof is terrible
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Oakland A's run differential is now -100
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Oakland A's run differential is now -100 Rays at +84. A good 40 runs better than the next closest team
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Some of these numbers are shocking
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Their pitching staff has -2.7 fWAR with an 8.08 ERA. It’s remarkable that that they’ve assembled something so bad.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Oakland A's run differential is now -100 It says a lot about their lineup when a late 20s failed prospect can get hot for a couple weeks and is suddenly batting in the #3 hole every game. That said, it would be kind of neat if Rooker goes full EE

Must be good defensively to last this long with a pool noodle bat
