Maybe the guy is a true bum and did throw it at the baby. Certainly possible but more likely the baby wasn’t the intended target. If the baby wasnt, chalk it up to doing the judge, jury, executioner thing before you have the whole story

Sometimes I even lean into a wrong theory. I remember when the Bauer news broke and part of the story was he repeatedly punched her in the pussy (consensual part I think), I was assuming that probably happened as it’s oddly specific and was thinking what a fruit cake the guy was. Turns out that was false planted info to do maximum PR damage

Curious - is this worse than what Bauer did?

I'd say throwing tobacco (allegedly) at a baby is worse than having rough sex with someone who gave consent (allegedly).

Whomever voted for Dickey, Arroyo, Street, Napoli and Lackey should have their voting priviledges revoked immediately. They're obviously f***ing morons.

Does it matter who the target was?

God you’re such a moron

So happy Spanky declined my many offers to overpay for Clev in the DDL

I don't think Story for Abel and Clev was an overpay, I dodged a bullet there. He also plays for the Bosox, f*** that guy. :P You made out well at Zeros expense.

Oh it was definitely an overpay

I know he was dog s*** last year but I would take a flyer on Matt Barnes if he comes for nothing. He’s put up elite strikeout numbers in the past. Still only 32.

He's a FA now?

Helton, Wagner and Jones all look like they've got a great shot to get in over the next couple of years. Helton and Wagner for sure I think.

Sheffield is going to need a big jump in his last year. Beltran should make it with that start.

Interesting that A-Rod barely gained at all.

Out of the rest, I feel like Buehrle could be someone who just keeps sticking around gaining a bit at a time cause everyone liked him.

No point. Projects as a sideways move with Richards. Not an upgrade on anyone

Yeah don't think he's better than anyone else in the Jays pen at this point. If Jays lacked arms, for sure would take a flier on him.

Why doesn't Pettitte get more votes? 68 WAR, lot of playoff success and championships, Yankee (not that this should matter, but typically does). This is just b/c of his admission to PED use?

I'm also still baffled that Kevin Brown never got voted in.

Pettitte is in the same classification as Buerhle for me. Workhorses that never sucked, and the only thing they truly did exceptionally was never really get blown out. Solid pitchers that all rotations need, but they aren’t the ace. Aces make the hall. Not hall worthy imo.

Brown was better than both of them by far.

Oakland's Big Three: Hudson, Zito, Mulder - will be tough for one of them to make the Hall. Crazy thought back in 2002!
