He will get you a World Series but then leave your organization wiith a mess that takes a decade to clean up.

For some teams it might be worth it

Never happened in Detroit

Red Sox not in a good spot anymore after the WS he helped them get

Astros wanting to save the bullpen, poor McCullers he doesn't have it

They have so many good arms though. Dusty is one mean sob.

True that. He is a spend and trade type. If the org doesn't have a deep wallet he doesn't thrive.

How in the actual f*** do you let your starter give up 5 Homeruns in one World Series game. That’s just horrendous managing

Yeah I can’t believe they didn’t yank him as soon as it was 4-0

So far he has not given traded too many good young players in the organization although the Phillies minor league system was not that great anyway.

Dusty pretty much punted this game… even though the series is only 1-1. Puzzling.

This game sucked

They have like 4 contracts worth 100 million+ each to position players over 30… it could get ugly there soon

If that wasn't a confidence booster for Phillie I don't know what could be. Ride the wave to a World Series title. Go Phills.

Sucked for who, you? I loved that game. The crowd, the bombs, great pitching out of the Phils. Yup, great game.

It sucked as a baseball game. 7-0 blowouts aren’t exciting at all.

The first 2 games were great

I enjoyed watching the Phillies hit a bunch of tanks

I hear ya but that was pretty electric last night. I tuned out pretty much late though, lol.

Yeah that’s what I mean, barely paid attention past the 5th inning and didn’t miss anything. Houston had a few base runners but nothing exciting after a handful of homers off McCullers

Mind-boggling to me how well the Phillies are doing this postseason. They don't even make the postseason under last years rules.

If that doesn't tell you how much of a crapshoot baseball playoffs are, I don't know what will. Any team can get hot and win it all.

They almost didn’t make the postseason THIS year lol. Only reason they made it is because the Brewers had an epic collapse and refused to win at all the last few weeks.

Its kind of charming that Baseball is one of the only sports where the underdog teams regularly do well in the playoffs.

But also annoying because you know your team is better but they got bounced in round 1.

See: Mets, Dodgers, Braves…. Jays

Nobody wants to see the Dodgers win every year

I like to see different teams winning as often as possible. Back-to-back is also cool sometimes, as long as it’s not the Yankees
