BuckHenry Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Ffs Richards , just throw strikes …. f***ing disaster …. But Bo should have made the play for 3 away.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Author Posted September 7, 2022 lol... if they overturn this?
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Why are they challenging this? There's obviously a lane. This would be the worst call of them all if they overturn it.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 s***** inning started with Springer jogging to the ball and then Bo not being able to make a simple tag...
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Might be a block honestly
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 dog s*** game, white f***ing sucks

JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 baseball isn't what it use to be... gone woke
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Live by the block, die by the block Win 3/4 tomorrow.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Author Posted September 7, 2022 I don't give a f*** who or what you're referencing. I was having a little rant, wasn't talking to you You decided to pipe up and tell me obvious s*** any idiot already knows I told you to f*** off and leave me be You started with the name calling Why don't you just f*** off and leave me be then? "Meat" Eat a dick, dude... settle down Sally is all I can say to that. And they called that safe, lol.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 They're going to have to turn White starts into bullpen days. f***ing useless bum
Kordesi Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Oh well - sets it up well for tomorrow - should be a cracker
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Yeah that’s a fair call, Kirk was dancing all over the line and straddling the plate before the throw was even in frame Disappointing game
BlueJays Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Oh. Great. They finally changed the pitcher? 3 batters after?
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 I don't believe that I have seen a worse call in my entire life. He's standing up, there's a clear and obvious lane the entire time. The Sanchez throw is not remotely comparable. If this happens in the playoffs it could be the worst call in the history of baseball. I don't think that's an exaggeration. I'm not that upset due to the score of the game, but this is absolutely insane.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 I don't understand this rule at all. Kirk didn't block the plate at all. He fielded the ball and tagged him like he would if he was playing 2nd base. Isn't that the intent?
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Eat a dick, dude... settle down Sally is all I can say to that. And they called that safe, lol. lol you first spanky, I didn't start this drama you did
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Live by the block, die by the block Win 3/4 tomorrow. Yeah splitting this 2-2 after the excellent play yesterday would be awful. Need to win tomorrow with Manoah on the bump
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Live by the block, die by the block Win 3/4 tomorrow. You can't block the plate before the throw. That's now what Kirk did. He was out in front of the plate. He didn't start backing into the lane until the ball was in view..the throw took him there....ridiculous call.
BuckHenry Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 This f***ing blocking the plate rule is so totally ambiguous and referenced that nobody knows what the call should be .
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 The domino effect of a s***** starter is having to use 7 pitchers this game. At least Thursday is an off day.

Stop being homers for a second and notice that Kirk starts inside the line, crab walks over the foul line and straddles the plate for a good while, then goes outside the line to catch the ball.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 why Mayza... f***ing morons
harvey16 Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 This rule needs to be taken out! It's absolutely ridiculous! What exactly was Kirk suppose to do there? Imagine if a call like this costs a team a playoff game or worse yet decides the World Series. Way to ambiguous of a rule. Even when.the Jays benefited against the Twins I thought it was stupid.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Author Posted September 7, 2022 That's embarrassing, baseball has gone softer then jelly. I'm impaled by this rather impulsive and bad rules.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Live by the block, die by the block Win 3/4 tomorrow. but...he didn't block anything? He didn't put any body part in front of home plate.
