jaysthebest Verified Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Can anyone explain to me why Bichette has always been batting 2nd? His OBP is only .302 and wRC+ is 103. His wRC+ is worse than Kirk, Vladdy, Springer, Gurriel Jr, Biggio, and Teo.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Honestly though, 2 errors so far that both led to runs. Should only be 1 run for the Mariners right now

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Nice if true. Hard to tell with varying camera angles in each park Looks noticeable to me.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Regression to the mean “Regression to the mean” doesn’t explain swing decisions when he’s never had a problem with swing decisions in the past. You should probably understand both the question and your own answer before sounding like a twit

Should only be 1 run for the Mariners right now I just want our star-studded roster to get some line-drive singles, get on base, push people around instead of relying on infield singles and errors.

Move him in the 5th or 6th hole and he'd probably relax a bit more and get things going, then move him again once he's hot.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Why exactly was Gage sent down again?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Why exactly was Gage sent down again? Just because they could. I know it sounds dumb but that’s honestly the only reason
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Don’t think I’ll be fighting sleep for this one.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Sportsnet stop using the camera panning down the third base line. It's not as good as you think it is.

You should probably understand both the question and your own answer before sounding like a twit Get over yourself man. His "swing decisions" don't seem any different to me. He's just not finding holes like he was early in the season. I appreciate Espinal's solid start to the season, but to pencil this guy in as a full time regular going forward is a mistake IMO
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Welp. Suarez made up for the error
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Apparently there's a professional in the dugout who plans it for them that we don't have much information on, we should trust despite the lack of results on how to handle softy lefties. I'm sure the professional is telling them to swing way too hard, take long swings, roll over and pound the ball into the ground - and so far the Jays hitters are executing it perfectly! We should probably fire that guy because he's really stupid.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 f***. Well that’s enough for me tonight
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 This one got out of hand quickly lmao.
Jays333 Verified Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 haha well goodnight. How is the Jays backup plan when they lose a starter this f***ing bad
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Now the "elite" offence will roll over and die per usual
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Funny most of us thought (with good reason) the rotation would be a strength this season. Rotation has been in shambles all year really. If Gausman and Manoah weren’t so elite it would probably be one of the worst in the league
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 This one couldn't have been more predictable.
