Can anyone explain to me why Bichette has always been batting 2nd?

His OBP is only .302 and wRC+ is 103. His wRC+ is worse than Kirk, Vladdy, Springer, Gurriel Jr, Biggio, and Teo.

Charlie doesn't have the balls to take him off that spot.

Nice if true. Hard to tell with varying camera angles in each park

Looks noticeable to me.

Regression to the mean

“Regression to the mean” doesn’t explain swing decisions when he’s never had a problem with swing decisions in the past. You should probably understand both the question and your own answer before sounding like a twit

Honestly though, 2 errors so far that both led to runs. Should only be 1 run for the Mariners right now

I just want our star-studded roster to get some line-drive singles, get on base, push people around instead of relying on infield singles and errors.

Good point. I have no idea. It seems like Bo's been pressing a lot this year. Move him in the 5th or 6th hole and he'd probably relax a bit more and get things going, then move him again once he's hot.

Why exactly was Gage sent down again?

Just because they could. I know it sounds dumb but that’s honestly the only reason

Sportsnet stop using the camera panning down the third base line. It's not as good as you think it is.

Get over yourself man. His "swing decisions" don't seem any different to me. He's just not finding holes like he was early in the season.

I appreciate Espinal's solid start to the season, but to pencil this guy in as a full time regular going forward is a mistake IMO

Apparently there's a professional in the dugout who plans it for them that we don't have much information on, we should trust despite the lack of results on how to handle softy lefties.

I'm sure the professional is telling them to swing way too hard, take long swings, roll over and pound the ball into the ground - and so far the Jays hitters are executing it perfectly! We should probably fire that guy because he's really stupid.

Funny most of us thought (with good reason) the rotation would be a strength this season.

Rotation has been in shambles all year really. If Gausman and Manoah weren’t so elite it would probably be one of the worst in the league
