I was looking at the past month numbers. Yeah, he’s hot right now, but he should not be in the starting lineup as often as he is. He’s just not that good and he’s utter trash in the field

 

I think that all of Gurriel, Teo, and Springer should be in the lineup over him, yes. I also don't think he should be getting any time at DH, and definitely not over Kirk, but you really cannot complain about Tilapia's batting lately.

He was not looking for a fastball - but then he recognized it (needs to swing to protect plate and not K) and he late-swings to pull. That'll never work, ever. He needs to learn how to slap-hit if he's trying to late-swing to protect the plate like Rizzo does.
