Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Lol JD. That's the most clear strike of the last two innings.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 It truly is embarrassing. Hes like 22 in this kind of shape. I donÂ’t know how heÂ’s going to look in 5 years. But heÂ’s definitely not someone I would hesitate to trade. His sprint speed was 23.6 in 2020, 24.7 last year and 25.3 f/s this year. He's actually trending in the right direction and getting incrementally in better shape each year. You guys make is sound like he's in the Yadier Molina category for speed. He's not. Yadier's sprint speed was 22.6 f./s last year. Kirk is 26 percentile this year. Yeah he's slow, but faster than 25% of the players in the league and faster than you think. The ball that springer hit was not deep.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Pat and Buck acting like thats anything close to the other calls lol.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 JD must be blind now lol. That was well over the plate.
ColonelTigh Verified Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 f*** off JD. Complaining about that strike.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Pat and Buck acting like thats anything close to the other calls lol. Yeah that was silly.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Nobody wants to watch this f***ing angle man
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Gausman trusting and locating his fastball more. It just makes that filthy splitter that much more dangerous, despite the run on those two bloops/bad defense this inning was incredibly encouraging.
ColonelTigh Verified Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Nobody wants to watch this f***ing angle man It's as bad as when you're watching a hockey game and during live play they turn to the behind the net camera. Horrible.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Lat em have it Charlie lol... I thought the same, then chuckled.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 We haven't seen much of Zimmer, but he gives me a lot of confidence in CF. He's getting really good jumps and just looks comfortable. If we can unlock that bat just a bit, he's a valuable piece for a couple of years.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Biggio lost. Taking good pitches to hit and swinging at s*** away off the plate.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 it's like pitching with training wheels on
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Author Posted April 15, 2022 Is the shift ban official? Like why would they wait a whole year. Because the players didn't want to talk about rule changes in this CBA. MLB won unilateral implementation power for next season so robo umps, shift changes, bigger bases, etc, they're all coming.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 That second pitch is not a strike. Come on...
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Biggio lost. Taking good pitches to hit and swinging at s*** away off the plate. He has to swing at that pitch that he struck out on. They already called it a strike in the same at-bat. That's really tough for any player.

DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Severino is on, going to be tough.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Rizzo bunting... wtf... LOL
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 He should probably make an adjustment. They've only been calling that a strike on him for a couple years now. Huh?

It's not feasible to ask a batter to pretend that the strike zone is 6 inches wider than it is. He's going to see a massive boost with robots umps. His eye is impeccable, easily the best on the team.
