I will say one positive thing about the umps this season, they've absolutely demolished any argument against roboumps.

So every game in that series the umps tilted the score towards NY by ~ 1-2 runs? It’s time for roboumps.

 

I don't know what the problem is as to why this hasn't happened yet. You have something in place to call the pitches with 100 % accuracy as opposed to a bunch of buffoons who get pitch after pitch wrong. If they just missed a few a game it would be one thing but you can hardly ever watch a game without there being several obvious wrong calls. Is Manfred really that useless and dumb that he won't fix this already?

Manfred can’t just decide to do it randomly, the players union has to agree to it. They denied it in the latest CBA agreement however, there is a clause that Manfred can implement new rules and roboumps next year.

Probably pitchers that want to continue getting ******** calls. Also lots of players aren’t fully convinced the robo-ump thing won’t have glitches and problems

And yet they're out there using remote controlled pitch calling devices.. Pitchers get screwed just as much as they benefit from the bad calls
