DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Gurriel with the bad fundamentals...terrible throws

JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 I really don't want a close game
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Would be nice if Manoah is god mode tomorrow
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Biggest over reaction from casuals is love affair with Espy first 2 games. I think he is a great piece too but Biggio is too good to give up on and if he makes some adjustments successfully, he is such an important LHH bat in the order. He also made a nice catch yesterday on that LD. I'm not so sure it's over reaction with Espy. Dude had a league average walk rate last year. His o-swing percentage was a tick below 30%, so right around league average or maybe a tick better than league average so he's not a free swinger. His contact rates in and out of the zone are some of the highest in the league. He had a better than league average line drive rate last year. He just had no power. 2 homers last year. This year he had 2 homers in spring and his career high exit velocity prior to this year was 104.4. He's had 3 balls over 106 this year with the best topping out at 106.9 and he's only had 6 plate appearances. I don't think it's too early to get excited about this kid. If he's hitting it harder he should be another guy who is a better than league average bat.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 I feel like Bo should have had that. Yeah. I thought so too.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Take him out. Precautionary of course.... Not because he sucks ass.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Oh man, f***ing lucky bastards.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 This game went down the toilet quick.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Lol, ryu can’t catch a break. Yeah some hard contact here but two straight wrong throws by gurriel, seeing eye single and now he gets hit by a grounder….
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 3 straight mediocre or below SP pitching performances. A bit disappointing, but nothing that concerns me yet. If Manoah implodes, then I'll be concerned.
el duque Verified Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 The only reason we are not mad at Ryu is because we have six runs, in reality is another disappointing star, he is done, same Ryu as last year
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Gurriel with the bad fundamentals...terrible throws Gurriel had the most assists last year, bro.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 It's OK. 3rd game of the season
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Gurriel had the most assists last year, bro. What does this have to do with what I Said?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Gurriel had the most assists last year, bro. Doesn’t mean he didn’t just make 2 bad throws.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Well now it’s their come back game. Puke
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Really wanted the Jays to get Miller.
