91 mph fast ball, not elite but good enough for Ryu

His velo never really dropped, he struggled with command in that rut last year, I can see a nice bounceback this season, plus we have Chapman!!! :)

f***, I wish Biggio was starting!

Biggest over reaction from casuals is love affair with Espy first 2 games. I think he is a great piece too but Biggio is too good to give up on and if he makes some adjustments successfully, he is such an important LHH bat in the order. He also made a nice catch yesterday on that LD.

Silent treatment for Matt Chapman after he launched his first homer (432 Ft) as a #BlueJays

Matt Chapman's first home run as a Blue Jay (432 feet) was longer than any of the 27 he hit as an Athletic in 2021

Yep, I'm high on Biggio, I'm not low on Espinal. They'll make a great platoon because they're both good players. Espinal will get virtually all of the backup IF gigs, so he'll get LOTS of starts, even if Biggio plays the vast majority of 2B games.

According to Gruber, that play was routine. Hah!

This is a truly bonkers home run by Jansen.

Of the 262 HR the Blue Jays hit last year, only 1 had a launch angle of 40+ and exit velo of 105 mph+ like this one.

Really impressive for him to get this much on a ball hit this high.
