I might be in the minority, but I liked the runner at 2nd even though it didn't really work to our advantage last year.

Didn’t work to our advantage because our manager is a moron, but yeah I think overall I liked it because you knew the game would be over soon.

 

I think regular extra innings actually favors the Jays since they’re such a big homerun team. I can see a lot of games being won via solo shot in extras for us.

I agree, i dont think banning the shift was necessary, but it will help offense at least a bit I guess. So that's a good thing imo

I liked that one too. I also didn't hate the 7 inning DHs. Banning the shift is stupid.

 

But I'll take all of that for the universal DH. Never having to watch pitchers and their garbage ABs again is going to rule.

That ended up growing on me over time despite my initial skepticism. I really liked the 7 inning double headers, I found that to be a perfect amount of baseball to view in one day. I find watching two 9 inning games to be simply too much of a drain on my time.

The rule 5 draft has been cancelled as well, that's great news for the Jays as there was a good possibility of losing several players from the minor league system.
