M's lost!

The Jays have had some gut wrenching losses this year, but nothing come close to the debacle that the Mariners had today.

Edit: The Mariners had a 99.8% win probability in the 6th LMAOOOO

Shocking loss. Really wish we had just a bit more breathing room on them. As it stands, I can't imagine they will continue to s*** all over themselves against these garbage teams, especially at home. Our schedule and the tiebreaker makes it tough to hold on.

Your hot takes have been terribly wrong, so I'm assuming this trend will continue. :)

Mariners gave a huge prospect haul for Castillo, then signed him to a 100 million dollar extension, then the very next day he can't hold a 11-2 lead doing a Jose Berrios impression. Obviously not all his fault...

Was Grant really wrong about something once and actually admitted it? As far as I can tell he's right about almost everything, like look at how bad Seattle is, and he saw it first.

And.. don't bring up his claim that Billy Mckinney would be the next Justin Upton. Have you looked at their stats the last 2 years? IDENTICAL almost. He was right about that too it turned out.

Tampa is a terrible matchup is a hot take? I'm thrilled we managed to go 5-4. But they are still our worst matchup in the first round if it comes to it. I'd much rather take my chances with Seattle or Cleveland.

If we have home field, doesn't matter.

M's seem like a pretty s*** team. I hope they are matchup. They would get swept for sure.

Yeah lol that’s a brutal loss for the Mariners, especially with them trying to snap a playoff drought and go for homefield advantage. They must be super relieved the Orioles lost today

Like the Angels, Athletics, and Royals that they went 3-7 against? It's kind of funny immediately after a certain poster sang their praises as an elite playoff team, despite the statistics saying otherwise.

Sandy Alacantra has thrown 220 innings this year. 27 more innings than the next closest pitcher. Based on the Marlins schedule he might be able to get a couple more starts and clear 230 innings which would be the first pitcher to clear that number since David Price threw 230 in 2016.

Not even many guys likely to clear even 200 this year. Manoah has a good shot.

Just hit a rough stretch. They aren't this bad and they maybe weren't as good as advertised before. They're still a solid team.

Less so without Julio R

I agree. They probably aren't a playoff team without the new format and an easy division, but the offense is finally average thanks to J-Rod and the pitching is a bit above average too. They have a good future core if the vets don't regress and bullpen volatility doesn't bite them.

Things are going well during the delay at Yankee Stadium

Eugenio Suarez would be one of best offensive players on the Jays. The Ms are down him and JRod and the protection they afford other batters.

I do not want to face the Ms in a short series.

I believe their pen is better them ours also.
