Looks like Friday's Apple TV lineup has both the Yankees game and the Cardinals game, and MLB is not going to move them. So if you want to watch Judge possibly breaking/tying the AL HR record and Pujols possibly getting his 700th home run (assuming they don't get to those milestones earlier), then you'll have to watch it on Apple. To be fair, there was no way MLB could have had the foresight to predict this when they made the schedules, but they better hope neither of those milestones happen on Apple. Melanie Newman having to make a record breaking call that will be replayed for decades would be a travesty.

I wonder how play by play people handle potentially calling these kinds of events. Like, she's definitely spent time practicing different versions of the call, right?

Canada is removing the mandatory vaccine requirement policy on Sept 30.

Postseason will have full rosters in Canada.

Hopefully the US does the same or that does not help the Jays in free agency

This isnt confirmed yet, but something like this when it gets reported by "sources" usually is correct.

Wouldn't effect American players. They can still go back to the US as long as they're US citizens. Would effect non-American players though since if they signed with a Canadian team, they likely lose their US work visa. Regardless, I expect the US to end their vaccine requirements soon as well.

I've heard differently tbh, I work somewhere that is effectived by this policy and we just heard last week from higher ups that it's going to be in place for still TBD amount of time.

I'm sure the 5 people watching it will be disappointed.

Weird, it was reported by globe and mail. Figured they were reputable enough. Guess we'll find out.

I hope to god Judge signs with the Giants or something this offseason.

What an absolute monster season. I still think Ohtani is MVP, but Judge will probably win it based on narrative.
