connorp Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Skubal is an ace, confirmed. I’ve probably sent Adam G like 15 trade offers in this last year for him and he never flinched. Decent ones too. Bastard
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Semien went 7 for 8 in the doubleheader today, with 4 runs scored, 3 HR, 3 RBI and 2 SB. 5 HR's in 7 June games thus far.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Angels leadoff double in the bottom of the 9th… score is tied. Lets see if they can break the streak

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 I agreed when you said he'd rake, he's too good man. Yeah he took a little longer than most bats, but I could see him having a killer June and second half. His numbers won't look like last season, but at the end of the day I think he's good for 25-30 HR's, 80-90 RBI with 20 SB's. In fantasy baseball, was a great buy low last week.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 And Angels streak to 13 & Trout injured; man they are just in some sort of crazy freefall.

Guessing the guy who dropped him 2 weeks ago in my league is regretting it now, worked out well for me since I'm the one who picked him up
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 How about George Knox? And they should have Joseph Gordon-Levitt attend every game sitting next to the dugout.

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Very plausible... I really wouldn't want to play the Rays in a Best of 3 series.

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Nor would they, us, lol. The Rays to the Jays are the equivalent to the Boston Bruins with the Leafs. They always give the Jays a tough time and in the Postseason they could be dangerous in a short series, especially at the Trop. Hope the Jays at least play the series at the Rogers Centre. Home field will be huge in that series especially. Would prefer playing the Twins in the Wildcard. As for Boston, I would be worried about them getting more calls going their way.

Home field advantage for the wildcard series will be key IMO
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Home field advantage for the wildcard series will be key IMO 100% We'll have a better idea about the teams in September. Still a lot of season left.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Twins hang a 4 spot on Nestor the Molester. He went 4.1 innings. 4-1 Twins in the 5th

glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Very plausible... Jays and Rays about to win 95-100 games each and face each other, while the Red Sox going to win like 86 and face the Twins.

Lol yeah true. The schedule balancing, division alignment, and playoff structure could still use some work. Just f***ing seed the teams 1-6 by order of record and forget this “division winner”

The Yanks are unconscious right now. Pisses me off. I like watching them only when they f*** up. I remember last year their fans were screaming for Boones head.

Yeah Yankees went through a rough stretch last year where they weren’t hitting at all and it almost cost them a playoff berth. Boone was definitely in the hot seat
